NQFL - Levels

Level 1

The professionals fulfill simple requirements in a manageable and stably structured field of activity. They perform their tasks under supervision.

 

Level 2

Professionals meet basic requirements in a clearly and stably structured field of activity. They perform their tasks largely under supervision.

 

Level 3

Professionals independently fulfill technical requirements in a still manageable and partly openly structured field of activity.

 

Level 4

Professionals recognize and process technical tasks in a comprehensive, changing area of work.

 

Level 5

Professionals recognize and analyze comprehensive technical tasks in a complex, specialized, changing work context.

 

Level 6

Professionals recognize, analyze and evaluate comprehensive technical tasks, problems and processes in an extended work context. The requirements structure is characterized by complexity and frequent change.

 

Level 7

Professionals work on new complex tasks and problems and independently control processes in a strategy-oriented work context. The requirement structure is characterized by frequent and unpredictable changes.

 

Level 8

Professionals develop innovative solutions and processes or gain research findings in a complex field of activity. The requirement structure is characterized by novel and highly demanding problem situations.
